Rnd 1 – 2019 Enduro Tri Series

As a brand new initiative for 2019, 3 of Motorcycling SA’s mid north country clubs, the Gawler, Keyneton & Clare MCC’s have united to launch a brand new enduro series for 2019, the Scott Ware Memorial Tri-Series, and all rounds will run as Cross Country events in the inaugural year.

AND: The Clubs are more than excited to announce that entries for all rounds are now OPEN! Sup Regs and all of the details on the 2 rounds are now available on the Motorcycling SA website here; http://www.motorcyclingsa.org.au/supp-regs/, with entries online through Ridernet.

As stated, all the details are included in the Sup Regs, but here is the general information for the Series – which has one important factor to it – being a Tri-Series with the 3 clubs, membership to one of the 3 clubs is an absolute must – which can also be done through Ridernet for all three clubs.

Riders will be escorted on a sighting lap. No other riding than in the event is permitted.
The tests are to be walked only!
Duration of the Races;
Juniors Race 1; 1.5 hours (90 minutes) plus sight lap
Juniors Race 2; 2 hours (120 minutes) plus sight lap
Seniors; 2.5 hours (150 minutes) plus sight lap

SART Round 1 – Entries Now Open!

Entries are now open for the opening round of the SA Reliability Trail Championship Series (SART). As per previous years Gawler Mcc will be hosting the “Phillip Haydon Trial” as the opening round.

This years event will be two laps and Starting from the Tarlee Oval.

Online entries are available now HERE or via your Ridernet Profile.

Postal Entries are also available and entry forms are included as part of the Supp Regs.

JDP Ride Day 31st March

Our Next Rideday is the 31st March.

This rideday is also incorporating a Come N Try, so invite your friends!

Where: Lot 6 North Terrace, Wingfield

When: Gates Open from 8am till 3pm

How much:
Junior Members $20
Junior Non-member $30
Seniors (Members Only) $30
Rec Licenses (if required) $30
Free Come N Try Licenses will also be available if you’ve never held a License previously.

Membership will be available on the day, at the General meeting Thursday Night or via RiderNet at anytime.

Don’t forget to bring plenty of water, a hat and sunscreen. We will have BBQ lunch and soft drinks available on the day.


March Club Meeting – Held at Gawler Motorcycle Centre

This Months Club Meeting will be held at Gawler Motorcycle Centre,
The Shop will be open prior to the meeting, so please come along and show your support for the Club and Business that support us.

This Months Meeting Starts at the special time of 7pm.

Our meetings are open for everyone to attend and are a great opportunity to find out what is happening within the club as well as members are invited to have there say.

Go-Carting Social Event

G’day Members,
Family social event, Go-carting, Laser tag and dinner on April 6, 2019

Planning a go-carting/laser tag afternoon at Cart Mania, Gepps Cross followed by dinner across the road at the Coopers Alehouse.
Options for the go-carts range from casual lapping, 10 min sessions with lap times available (no min number of people, no booking just walk in), to a race format which requires 8 people (booked and requires full payment 2 weeks in advance). Price ranges from $30 for around 15 laps casual to $65 for a 40 (approx.) lap race. Up to 1 hour and depending on what we do starting at either 4 pm or 5.30 with registration 30 mins before.
Laser Tag, $10 per game or $20 for 3 games, approx. 1 hour. It is good fun for the whole family including younger kids and Mums – friends are welcome to join in.

My thoughts are to run these events simultaneously with participating members involved in one or the other.

Please indicate your numbers of people wishing to be involved and any price limitations for each as this will govern our options.
