The Club:

The Gawler Motorcycle club was originally formed  in 1925 to cater for the early 24 Hour Trial  Events. Over the years it has produced many elite riders in motocross, speedway, Reliability Trials, Enduro and Moto Trials.

We are a proud club, proud of our heritage, proud of our sporting achievements, and proud to one of the strongest motorcycling clubs in South Australia today. The Gawler Mcc is a Motorcycling South Australia affiliated club.

Club Activities:

The Club supports and encourages riders in all aspects of motorcycling. Each year the club conducts multiple events under the following categories.

Open Competition

  • Reliability Trials ( SART Championship round)
  • Enduro (SAROC Round)
  • Trials (previously Moto Trials)

The Gawler club has also hosted two national rounds of AORC in the past few years with it being voted the best  round of the series both times.

Club Events

  • Enduro Events (Tri Series).

Non-Competitive Events

  • Family Days (a low key day which as the name suggests are open to the whole Family.)
  • Trail Rides and Camp outs

Junior Development is also a big part of our club with annual coaching days held.  Our family days are perfect for juniors starting out to come out and ride some of our magnificent county side. With thanks to our club sponsors the club is also offering discounted entry to our non-competitive events. (T&C’s Apply)

Social Events

While the competitive side of the club speaks for itself, the committee recognizes the success of any club is reinforced through its social events. As such, several social events are organised each year including our annual Family Christmas Day and the Christmas dinner / Presentation Night. Our Club meetings are also used as a social gathering with video’s and photos regularly shown after meetings. Camping is also available at most club events and provides a great opportunity to catch up our club members and fellow motorcycle riders.

Club Meetings:

The Gawler club holds its monthly club meetings at our club rooms located at 323 Haydon Rd Reeves Plains, (about 10 km from Gawler). Our meetings are open for everyone to attend and are a great opportunity to find out what is happening within the club as well as members are invited to have there say.

Meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month starting at 8pm, with the our club rooms open from 7:30 .
